Allegheny Tippers offer an efficient way to load material onto your shredder’s input conveyor or onto an Allegheny Auto-Feed™ System. Our tippers can accommodate security containers, drums, loading carts, and Gaylord boxes. They will increase your throughput volume by allowing the operator to provide a consistent, even flow of paper into the shredder. They also eliminate back strain and fatigue resulting from repetitive lifting of materials.

The Allegheny HLS Tipper is recommended for high volume shredding applications. It was designed to accompany a new or existing Allegheny 100-Series or 1000-Series Shredder, or an Allegheny Auto-Feed™ system. The HLS Tipper can accommodate up to two 64- through 96-gallon security containers at a time, 55-gallon drums, loading carts, or a full Gaylord box.

The Allegheny Fast-Tip is an optional package for HLS tippers, allowing for high-speed ‘dump-n-run’ destruction of your documents. The Fast-Tip, three times faster than the standard HLS model, dramatically minimizes the time spent emptying security containers and/or Gaylord boxes into your Allegheny Auto-Feed™ System. An optional Laser Safety Scanner ensures operator safety and saves the time ordinarily spent opening and closing a door.

All Allegheny tippers are operator-controlled with a momentary selector switch that allows Power-up/Gravity-down operation. This allows the operator to control the amount of material loaded onto the feed table for faster processing and maximum throughput. The Fast-Tip control switch can be mounted remotely, providing easy access for the forklift driver.

All standard models of the HLS Tipper come with a protective safety cage utilizing an interlock-hinged door. To ensure safety, the tipper will not operate without the door in the closed/locked position. However, if the Fast-Tip package is used, an optional Laser Safety Scanner can replace the full cage with interlock-hinged door.
